A number of Coventry Godivas young athletes braved the strong winds and rain for the Midland’s Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 championships at the Pingles stadium in Nuneaton.
In the under 13 girls quad event Daniella Bleach took a bronze medal with some excellent performances in her four events.
In the under 15 boys Jake Minshull was busy over the two days taking a gold medal in the 300m and Long jump, a silver in the 80m hurdles and a bronze in the high jump.
In the under 17 boys Stephen Awauah Baffour took a bronze in the 200m and came 4th in the 100m.
In the under 17 girls 300m there was sister rivalry with Jess Starling taking the silver medal and Nadine starling taking the bronze medal.
Findlay Douglas 400m and Rio Maye 100m hurdles both competed well to make the finals in their events.
Well done also to Freya Bennett, Eloise Green, Pierce Clisham, Eloise Sunderland, Catherine Kandala and Beverley Temgoua who all competed really well in their events
