Yasmin Liverpool yesterday capped off an amazing year being part of the silver medal winning team as part of the GB u23 contingent competing at the European under 23 Championships over in Galve, Sweden.
She was given the duties of 3rd leg, receiving the baton in 1st place and expertly continued that trend with a brilliant leg opening up a bigger gap. But of course the ever present superiority of the Polish in the relays proved too strong as they took the lead and victory in the home straight.
But the silver medal will be welcomed by the entire team we are sure. This medal of course being Yasmin’s 1st one achieved for Team GB.
