22 July 2018- Kare sets World Record

Congratulations to Kare Adenegan who set a record time of 16.80seconds in the T34 100m Wheelchair Race at the IAAF Diamond League Anniversary Games today.

10th May 2016 – Multiple successes for Jen at the Invictus Games

Congratulations to Jen Warren who won 4 silver medals at the Invictus Games in Orlando today – 100m,200m,400m & 1500m (1min PB!)

31st October – Results from IPC World Championships, Doha

Congratulations to Hannah Cockroft (gold), Mel Nicholls (silver) and Kare Adenegan (bronze), who produced a GB 1-2-3 in the T34 800m race. With Hannah a second-claim member we can almost claim a Godiva 1-2-3!

Their times were:
Hannah – 2:07.10
Mel – 2:09.29
Kare – 2:09.66

The three Coventry ladies also had mixed success in the T34 200m race. Hannah gained gold, while Kare achieved her second bronze, with Mel finishing this time in 5th.

Meanwhile in the men’s races Ben Rowlings just missed out on a medal in the T34 400m, and was 7th in the T34 200m.

2nd September – Charlotte Moore in Basketball success

Charlotte has been competing in Euro2015 with the GB Women’s Wheelchair Basketball team, which qualified for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games through reaching the semi-finals.

1st September – Lauren Rowles changes tack

Following her success in Wheelchair Racing, Lauren has turned her attention to Rowing this year, and has qualified with Laurence Whiteley in the mixed-double scull for the Rio Paralympics.
